How does pregnancy calculator
work?

A pregnancy is said to last for about 40 weeks, or 280 days, from the first day of the woman’s last menstrual period (LMP). However, only about 4% of women deliver on their expected due date.

The remaining 96% deliver anywhere from 2 weeks before to 2 weeks after their LMP. So, what does this mean for you? It means that if your due date is June 15, your baby has about a 4% chance of being born on that day…
